BOLO Mobile is a photo sharing application and communication service for law-enforcement only. BOLO is a popular acronym among police departments meaning "Be On the Look Out". Members of a participating Police Department can share any important photos and information with each other either by snapping a new photo, or attaching photos from their camera roll. The purpose of this application is to take advantage of mobile technology to eliminate the long manual process-delay of sharing photos with officers on the street, and to eliminate the need to give verbal physical descriptions by CB Radio when a photo is available. This is a cloud-based encrypted internet service that offers law enforcement the exclusive ability to share photos and information through a mobile application and website. In addition to sharing photos within their specific department, participating police departments can opt into sharing photos with nearby police departments if they choose to share.
